Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme Senator Rubina Khalid has said steps are being taken to transfer funds directly to the bank accounts of deserving women, following the directives of the President Asif Ali Zardari. This initiative aims to ensure that beneficiaries can access their entitlements more easily, transparently, and with dignity. Senator Rubina Khalid shared these remarks while speaking to the media at the BISP office in Chilas. The Chairperson said purpose of her visit to Chilas is to directly meet deserving women and understand their challenges. She emphasized that there will be no tolerance for deductions from the stipends of deserving women or any form of mistreatment. The BISP has established a modern call center with a helpline (0800-26477) for registering and addressing complaints. Senator Rubina Khalid further highlighted the difficulties faced by deserving women in traveling for registration in the program. She discussed the Benazir Kafaalat, Taleemi Wazaif, and Nashonuma pro grams and announced the launch of the Benazir Skill Training Program to help deserving women and their family members improve their quality of life and contribute to the national economy.
