Funeral of 28 deceased Pakistani pilgrims were offered at the Yazd airport today who lost their lives in an unfortunate bus accident. Representative of Iranian Supreme leader in Yazd, Ayatullah Naseri and Governor Yazd, Imam Juma Yazd along with Ambassador of Pakistan in Tehran, Mudassir Tipu and Embassy of Pakistan officials paid homage to the deceased in the funeral ceremony of the Pakistani nationals The mortal remains of the 28 deceased and 15 injured pilgrims who were discharged from the hospital were repatriated to Pakistan. Under the instructions of the Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, a special plane came from Islamabad to carry the mortal remains of the pilgrims. The Ambassador Mudassir thanked the Yazd Governor for all the support of the government of Iran and smooth and quick repatriation of the dead bodies and the injured. Source: Radio Pakistan
