Islamabad: The Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly has approved a budget of over 218 billion rupees for the current financial year. Addressing the session, Chief Minister Amjad Hussain stated that funds have been allocated for health, education, and public welfare, surpassing previous allocations.

According to Radio Pakistan, Chief Minister Hussain emphasized that equal funds have been allocated to both government and opposition members. This allocation will enable members to undertake development projects in their respective constituencies.
