Islamabad:The government is advancing a National Digital Master Plan to foster growth across various sectors and enhance services for citizens, according to Ahad Khan Cheema, Minister for Economic Affairs.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahad Cheema chaired a meeting on the Pakistan Digital Authority, where he underscored the importance of digitalisation and AI-driven transformation in delivering tangible results across government sectors and contributing to overall growth.

In the realm of education, Cheema stressed the necessity of a structured roadmap to introduce modern digital and AI-related skills in educational institutions, targeting students from primary to middle grades. He advocated for equipping students with skills relevant to the future through formal education, supported by the latest knowledge and practices.

For healthcare, the meeting addressed the importance of creating unified patient records and a registry to maintain clinical histories and treatment information across both public and private hospitals.
