Islamabad: The government is taking effective steps for privatization under its economic reforms strategy.

According to Radio Pakistan, Adviser to the Finance Minister Khurram Schehzad stated that the privatization of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has injected new momentum into the process, with further improvements anticipated in the coming days.

He further mentioned that investment in power distribution companies is expected to enhance the electricity sector significantly. Additionally, Schehzad revealed that after the outsourcing of Islamabad Airport, other airports across the country will follow suit in the privatization initiative.
