Lahore: Chairman of Prime Minister's Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, has emphasized that the government is implementing tangible measures to empower the youth. This announcement was made during a ceremony held in Lahore, which coincided with International Volunteer Day. According to Radio Pakistan, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan underscored the pivotal role of youth as the future of Pakistan. He highlighted the commendable services provided by Rescue 1122 to individuals in need and elaborated on the objectives of the National Volunteer Corps, which is dedicated to assisting people during crises. Furthermore, he discussed the launch of the Green Youth Movement in educational institutions as part of the government's efforts to promote youth engagement and environmental consciousness. Rana Mashhood also mentioned that the Punjab model of Rescue 1122 services has been successfully replicated in other regions across the country, showcasing the province's leadership in emergency response initiatives.
