Adviser on Legal Affairs Barrister Aqeel Malik has said the government is holding consultations on the constitutional package. Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, he said bar associations and councils have also been taken on board on the matter. We want to build broader consensus on the constitutional package. He said there is a consensus among political parties for judicial reforms, and there should not be any politics on it. He said it must be appreciated that the government is endeavoring to bring improvement in the judicial system to provide speedy justice to the people.
