Govt Initiates First National Youth and Adolescents Policy

Islamabad: Chairman Prime Minister's Youth Program Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan announced that the government is actively working on the First National Youth and Adolescents Policy. This initiative aims to ensure the empowerment, education, and development of the younger generation.

According to Radio Pakistan, Khan addressed a ceremony in Islamabad where he revealed that a comprehensive survey involving over 300,000 youth has been conducted to support the policy's development. This extensive research is seen as a crucial step in understanding the needs and aspirations of the nation's youth.

Khan also emphasized the government's commitment to women empowerment, noting that it remains a top priority. He highlighted the success of the 'Women on Wheels' program, through which over twenty-six thousand girls in Punjab have received training. This program is considered a vital tool for advancing female empowerment in the region.

He concluded by reaffirming the government's dedication to providing opportunities and fostering the development of youth across the country.
