Govt Launches E-Appeal System for Enhanced Judicial Efficiency

Islamabad: Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar has launched the E-Appeal Management System, Public Interface, Management Dashboard, and Video-Link Facility for e-hearing of cases for the Federal Service Tribunal. This initiative marks a significant milestone in the Government of Pakistan's ongoing judicial reform agenda, which aims to improve access to justice, enhance transparency, and modernize judicial administration across the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, the newly launched system introduces a comprehensive digital platform that streamlines appeal management from registration to disposal, thereby improving judicial efficiency. The Management Dashboard and Web Portal are designed to provide litigants, lawyers, and court officials with quicker and more convenient access to case-related information.

The system's incorporation of video-link facilities at the benches in Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, and Karachi enables virtual proceedings when appropriate. This feature is expected to reduce delays caused by travel constraints, improve the utilization of court time, and lower administrative and logistical costs.

During the launch ceremony, Azam Nazeer Tarar emphasized the government's commitment to strengthening the justice sector through the adoption of modern technology.
