Govt Mobilising Resources for Relief Efforts in Flood-Hit Regions: DPM

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has announced that the government is deploying all available resources to provide relief and facilitate rescue operations in areas affected by recent floods. In a recent post on his X handle, he stated that federal and provincial agencies, the armed forces, and local administrations are actively working to reach affected communities and ensure the safety of citizens.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar conveyed profound grief over the loss of life and destruction resulting from the recent cloudbursts and flash floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and northern Pakistan. He emphasized the government's commitment to addressing immediate needs while also planning for the long-term recovery of the impacted regions.

The Deputy Prime Minister called upon Pakistanis, both domestically and internationally, to keep the affected families in their thoughts and to support the ongoing relief efforts in any way possible. He expressed confidence that through collective efforts, the nation would overcome this challenging time.
