Islamabad: A meeting chaired by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Islamabad decided to install state-of-the-art machinery at airports to make the checking system more efficient. It was decided to establish joint counters and introduce a unified checking system at a single location. Progress on the installation of e-gates was also reviewed during the meeting.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Interior Minister emphasized providing faster clearance and easier travel facilities for passengers. Mohsin Naqvi stated that joint checking by all agencies on a single scanner will save time. He highlighted that coordination among agencies can reduce crowding and waiting times at airports.
The Interior Minister expressed the commitment to provide the public with modern, fast, and convenient travel facilities.
