Karachi: The groundbreaking ceremony of Pakistan's first Maritime Science and Technology Park took place at the Karachi Expo Center, marking a significant milestone in the country's maritime development. Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf graced the occasion as the chief guest, highlighting the importance of this initiative for Pakistan's maritime sector. According to Radio Pakistan, the Maritime Science and Technology Park is set to become a hub for advancement in maritime sciences, technology, business, and industry. The Naval Chief expressed his confidence that the park will create new economic opportunities and foster growth within the maritime sector. The park aims to support the development of various sectors, including maritime technologies, artificial intelligence, cyber security, ocean renewable energy, seafood processing, shipbuilding, and coastal tourism. This initiative is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing Pakistan's capabilities in these areas and contribute to the country's overall e conomic growth.
