Islamabad: Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi has announced that this year's Urs of Hazrat Bari Imam (RA) will be conducted in a more organized and peaceful environment. He emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring a respectful and spiritual atmosphere for all attendees.
According to Radio Pakistan, during a meeting held on Friday in Islamabad, Hanif Abbasi outlined the government's top priorities for the event. He stressed the importance of providing a peaceful and respectful environment for the zaireen, or pilgrims, who will be attending the Urs.
The meeting focused on the implementation of effective measures to ensure the comfort and safety of the zaireen. Key provisions discussed included transportation, security, cleanliness, parking, lighting, and access to water. Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Memon provided a comprehensive briefing to the Federal Minister, detailing the security and administrative plans for the event.
