Islamabad: Chairperson of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Hina Rabbani Khar, has praised Spain's government for its leadership in creating legal pathways for migrant regularization. She expressed her appreciation during a meeting of the committee held at Parliament House in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, Hina Rabbani Khar highlighted that such initiatives could safeguard vulnerable workers from exploitation and help integrate them into formal economic systems. She noted the importance of proactive engagement from Pakistan in response to Europe's increasingly restrictive migration policies, to ensure lawful economic opportunities for its citizens abroad.

Furthermore, Khar stressed the significance of investing in the education of future diplomats by providing exposure to internationally recognized training institutions and modern diplomatic capacity-building programs. She emphasized these efforts as essential for strengthening Pakistan's Foreign Service.
