Islamabad:Hot and dry weather is anticipated in most plain areas of the country over the next twelve hours, with temperatures already recorded in major cities this morning.

According to Radio Pakistan, a rain-windstorm or thunderstorm is expected to occur in certain regions during the evening or night. These areas include central and southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, and the Potohar region.

The morning temperatures in major cities were as follows: Islamabad recorded nineteen degrees Celsius, Lahore twenty-five, Karachi twenty-eight, Peshawar twenty-two, Quetta fifteen, Gilgit twelve, Murree fourteen, and Muzaffarabad seventeen degrees Celsius.

In the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and thunderstorms is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, Baramula, and Jammu. This morning's temperatures were recorded as twelve degrees Celsius in Srinagar, twenty-three in Jammu, six in Leh, and fourteen in Pulwama and Baramula, with Anantnag and Shopian both at fifteen degrees Celsius.
