Srinagar: In the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian troops martyred three Kashmiri youth in a fake encounter during a violent cordon and search operation in Srinagar district today.
According to Radio Pakistan, the operation was jointly launched by Indian Army, police, and Central Reserve Police Force in the Dachigam area of the district and it is ongoing in Lidwas, Dara, and adjoining areas.
Locals in the area have condemned the Indian authorities' attempt to falsely link the martyred innocent youth to the Pahalgam attack.
Srinagar-based political analysts have pointed out that the BJP-led regime is using staged encounters to deflect criticism, particularly from voices like senior Congress leader and former Indian Home Minister P. Chidambaram, who have questioned the official narrative on the Pahalgam attack.
According to Kashmir Media Services, the fake encounters are being staged ahead of the Indian Parliament's monsoon session, which is scheduled to discuss the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor.
Earlier, P. Chidambaram in a media interview questioned the Modi government's presumption that the Pahalgam attackers were Pakistani nationals.
Underscoring the absence of any public evidence linking the attackers to Pakistan, Chidambaram challenged the investigative process. He asked where the attackers are and why they were not apprehended or even identified.
