Pakistan Army's "Ilm Tolo Da Para" literacy campaign is continuing in Spinwam and Shewa tehsils of North Waziristan. The aim of the campaign is to equip the out-of-school children with education. In the first phase, an educational survey was conducted, as a result of which over two thousand children were identified. In the second phase, Pakistan Army launched a comprehensive awareness campaign with the support of civil administration and local leaders. A documentary film was also made in Pashto language to make the awareness campaign effective. The documentary raised educational awareness at the local level. In the third phase of the campaign, the admission of out-of-school children's was started and three hundred and thirty two out of school children have so far been enrolled successfully.
