Delhi: India has announced a comprehensive ban on all imports from Pakistan, citing national security and public policy considerations as the primary reasons for this decision. According to Nam News Network, the prohibition includes the direct or indirect import or transit of all goods originating in or exported from Pakistan. This restriction applies to all goods, regardless of their import status, and is effective immediately until further notice. Tensions between the two nations have been heightened following a deadly attack on tourists in Pahalgam, located in the Indian-controlled region of Kashmir, on April 22.
