Kohat: A conference on interfaith harmony for lasting peace in district Kurram was organized in Kohat. The event saw the participation of prominent scholars, civil administration, tribal elders, students, and community leaders.

According to Radio Pakistan, scholars from various schools of thought emphasized the importance of unity, peace, forgiveness, and love for the progress of Pakistan. Discussions during the conference highlighted the need for collaborative efforts to foster a peaceful coexistence among different communities.

A joint declaration titled "Charter for Inter-Sectarian Harmony" was also issued during the conference. This declaration reaffirmed the collective commitment of scholars to ensure harmony and stability in district Kurram, outlining measures to promote interfaith dialogue and understanding.
