Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi says law enforcement agencies in Islamabad have performed their duties vigilantly, and those involved in clashes with security forces will be dealt with Iron hands. Talking to media along with IG Punjab Usman Anwar at D-Chowk in Islamabad, he said the government will take action against these miscreants without any discrimination. The Interior Minister said that a total of 564 individuals, including 120 Afghan nationals and 11 officials from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, were arrested. In his remarks, IG Punjab said that the police and other law enforcement agencies succeeded in controlling the law and order situation, as no unpleasant incident occurred. The Inspector General appreciated the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Rangers and other law enforcement agencies for their support and efforts in upholding law and order in the Federal Capital.
