Ishaq Dar to Attend R-4 Foreign Ministers Meeting in Cairo

Cairo: At the invitation of Foreign Minister of Egypt, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar will attend the 4th meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the R-4 Group of Countries, to be held in Cairo, Egypt, on Sunday. The meeting is set to bring together the Foreign Ministers of Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Trkiye, and Pakistan to discuss regional developments and exchange views on issues related to peace, security, and stability.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ministers will also build on the outcomes of previous R-4 meetings, focusing on ways to further strengthen cooperation in areas of shared interest. During the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Dar is scheduled to hold bilateral consultations with Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, and meet with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The discussions aim to deepen Pakistan-Egypt bilateral cooperation across various fields and exchange views on regional and international developments of mutual interest.

Pakistan places significant importance on its relations with Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Trkiye. The R-4 framework represents the participating countries' shared commitment to consultation, cooperation, and coordinated efforts in support of regional peace and prosperity.
