Jam Kamal Invites Japanese Companies to Invest in Pakistan’s Mineral Sector

Tokyo: Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal has invited Japanese companies to invest in Pakistan’s mineral sector.

According to Radio Pakistan, during a meeting in Tokyo with the Japan International Cooperation Agency, the Minister reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to fostering mutually beneficial partnerships anchored in sustainability, innovation, and economic integration.

The Minister highlighted Pakistan’s vast reserves of rare earth elements, copper, gold, and other industrial minerals as a strategic domain for Japanese investment. He emphasized that Pakistan is open to technology transfer, public-private partnership, and investment frameworks.
