Islamabad: The Joint Sitting of the Parliament today passed three bills. These included the National Commission for Human Rights Amendment Bill, 2025, the Daanish Schools Authority Bill, 2025, and the Domestic Violence (Prevention and Protection) Bill, 2025. According to Radio Pakistan, the passage of these bills signifies a concerted effort to address human rights issues, enhance educational frameworks, and implement measures to prevent domestic violence. The National Commission for Human Rights Amendment Bill, 2025, aims to strengthen the existing human rights framework, while the Daanish Schools Authority Bill, 2025, focuses on the administration and management of Daanish schools. The Domestic Violence (Prevention and Protection) Bill, 2025, seeks to provide protections against domestic violence and establish preventive measures.
