Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa presented a deficit budget for the next financial year with a total outlay of two-thousand one-hundred and seventy billion rupees in the assembly today. Chief Minister Sohail Afridi presented the budget before the house. According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister announced that a total of five-hundred and nineteen billion rupees have been proposed for the Annual Development Program. He said about four-hundred and sixty-eight billion rupees have been allocated for the education sector. The Chief Minister said a total of three-hundred and thirty-four point eight billion rupees have been allocated for the health sector. Sohail Afridi said the government has proposed property tax exemption in the budget for residential and commercial properties up to five marla.
