Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has urged for modern research in agriculture in line with contemporary requirements. Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar, he said better use of land for agriculture will be ensured to increase per acre yield. The Chief Minister said from next season, saffron will be cultivated on all suitable government lands. He said small dams will be constructed to cultivate vegetables in districts which have the issue of water scarcity. Source: Radio Pakistan
