Islamabad: Bangladesh High Commissioner Muhammad Ruhul Alam Siddique met with Interior Minister Mohsin Navi in Islamabad today to discuss strengthening bilateral ties. During their meeting, they explored various areas of mutual interest, including the promotion of cricket and the enhancement of relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh. According to Radio Pakistan, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized Pakistan's eagerness to reinforce the longstanding brotherly relationship with Bangladesh across multiple sectors. He announced plans for an upcoming visit to Bangladesh, following the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, to further these objectives. The conversation also touched upon the upcoming Champions Trophy, with the Interior Minister affirming that preparations are underway to ensure the successful organization of the event. Bangladeshi High Commissioner Siddique expressed Bangladesh's appreciation for its relationship with Pakistan and conveyed his best wishes for the tournament's organiz ation. He noted the strong support and admiration that the Pakistan cricket team enjoys in Bangladesh.
