Karachi: The Provincial Minister for Energy of Sindh, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, held an important meeting with the delegation of Foundation Solar Energy Limited, a subsidiary of Fauji Foundation. The meeting was attended by Major General (Retd) Amjad Ahmad Butt, Brigadier Imran, and other senior officials. The meeting was also joined by Secretary Energy Sindh, Mushtaq Ahmed Soomro, Director Solar, Mahfooz Qazi, and other officials from the Energy Department.

According to Directorate General Information and PRs - Sindh, representatives of Foundation Solar Energy Limited provided a detailed overview of solarization and environmentally-friendly energy projects in Sindh. Discussions included solar parks, micro and mini solar grids, and plans for solarizing government buildings. Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah assured full cooperation from the Sindh Government for these projects.

The meeting also covered the environmental and climate change impacts of green energy. The Minister reiterated that the Sindh Government is giving special attention to the promotion of green energy, in line with the special instructions of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to further promote environmentally-friendly energy projects. The Sindh Government has allocated funds for green energy to help the province overcome its energy crisis.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Major General (Retd) Amjad Ahmad Butt presented a cap and shield as a gift to the Minister. In return, Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah presented a traditional Ajrak and Sindhi cap as a gesture of goodwill.
