Video footage of violent activities of miscreants in the guise of a political party's march has revealed startling facts of attacking the Federal Capital. According to sources, the miscreants, hell-bent to spread anarchy, indulged in violent attacks on personnel of the law enforcement agencies and harming state property. They targeted police and other personnel, who were deploying to protect common people. One police official was martyred, while over 70 others wounded in these violent attacks. The sources say that miscreants of a political party kidnapped and tortured Police Constable Abdul Hameed Shah badly, who succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Teargas shells, masks, slingshots, pebbles, and stones were recovered from the riots and miscreants. Besides, personnel of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police were brought in plain clothes to march on Islamabad by force. Twenty-two Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police officials and two personnel of CTD, clad in civil dresses, have been apprehended. Source: Radio Pakistan
