Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized that Pakistan's missile and nuclear technology have fortified the nation's defence, making it impregnable. He made these remarks while speaking at the Azadi Cultural Show held at the Jinnah Convention Centre in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar asserted that Pakistan, founded in the name of Islam, will endure on the world map until the end of time. He highlighted Pakistan's vast potential and resilience, expressing confidence that the country will secure its rightful position in the global community. The Deputy Prime Minister also praised the valiant efforts of Pakistan's armed forces, noting their decisive victory over India in May.
Dar further discussed Pakistan's diplomatic achievements over the past year and a half, including its election to the United Nations Security Council and the successful hosting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting.
During the event, Ahsan Iqbal took the stage to underscore Pakistan's advancements in modern technology and higher education. He noted that 250 universities across the country are providing quality education to the youth, contributing to Pakistan's rapid development progress.
The Azadi Cultural Show featured patriotic songs performed by artists from various regions of Pakistan. Additionally, cultural performances by students and children were a key highlight of the event.
