Mohsin Naqvi Inaugurates Islamabad Police’s Modern Command and Control Centre

Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated Islamabad Police's Modern Command, Control, Communication and Coordination Centre.

According to Radio Pakistan, with the new Command and Control Centre, the Inspector General of Islamabad Police will be able to directly monitor and command Safe City, police operations, and the law-and-order situation in the city from his office.

In his remarks on the occasion, the Interior Minister stated that the modern centre will help improve Islamabad Police's command, monitoring, coordination, and rapid decision-making mechanisms. Mohsin Naqvi highlighted that modern AI and technology-based systems will enhance police performance, response times, and monitoring of field forces.

The Interior Minister further mentioned that the modern system will improve communication and coordination among various police units. In the event of any incident or emergency, it will facilitate timely information sharing, prompt decision-making, and a swift police response. Naqvi emphasized that the protection of people, improvement in police performance, and maintenance of law and order in Islamabad are top priorities.
