Islamabad: Wife of renowned Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik and Chairperson of the Peace and Culture Organization, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, has urged the international community to act for the release of her imprisoned husband from Indian custody. She was speaking at the "Save Yasin Malik Conference" in Islamabad today, along with her thirteen-year-old daughter, Raziyah Sultana.
According to Radio Pakistan, the conference was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front. Mushaal Mullick emphasized that Yasin Malik is a symbol of peace and a revered leader of the Kashmiri people who has endured unimaginable torture and hardship for leading a peaceful resistance movement. She expressed that her husband is in extremely critical condition and has been denied access to necessary medical facilities.
Mushaal Mullick further stated that if anything happens to Yasin Malik or if he is hanged, it would send a devastating message to future generations, potentially pushing the youth toward violence and extremism.
