Islamabad: Dr. Nisar Cheema and Zulfiqar Cheema called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad to express their support for the party's decision and assure their backing for the party's nominated candidate in the upcoming by-election in NA-66 Gujranwala.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting also involved discussions on the political situation and the party's decision regarding the by-election in that constituency. Present at the meeting were Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Prime Minister's Advisor Rana Sanaullah Khan, Chaudhry Abid Raza, Engineer Khurram Dastagir, and Mudassir Qayyum Nahra.
