In the strict crackdown against electricity thieves, more than 84 thousand electricity thieves have been apprehended from across the country so far. About 108 billion and 93 crore rupees have been collected from thieves. During the current month, the relevant authorities collected more than 686 crores rupees from electricity thieves in Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan and Islamabad. 413 crore rupees were received from Peshawar, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Quetta.
