Islamabad: Pakistan and Canada have emphasized the importance of sustained high-level exchanges to maintain the positive trajectory in bilateral engagement. This development came during a telephonic conversation between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anita Anand.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and ways to further enhance economic cooperation across diverse sectors, including agriculture, clean energy, and critical minerals. They also focused on strengthening people-to-people ties between the two nations. The conversation touched upon evolving regional developments, with the Deputy Prime Minister underscoring the importance of dialogue, diplomacy, and adherence to international law to promote de-escalation and stability in the Middle East and the wider region.
