Pakistan and Norway Commit to Enhancing Defence and Security Ties

Rawalpindi: A high-level Norwegian delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Espen Barth Eide met with Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in Rawalpindi today. The discussions focused on mutual interests, regional security, and the enhancement of bilateral relations between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Norway.

According to Radio Pakistan, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir emphasized Pakistan's viewpoint on global peace and regional stability, highlighting the significance of cooperation and collaborative efforts to tackle shared security challenges. The Norwegian delegation acknowledged the professional role played by the Pakistan Armed Forces in fostering regional peace and stability.

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and expanding collaborative efforts in the defence and security sectors.
