Pakistan and Romania Agree to Boost Cooperation in Technology and Energy Sectors

Islamabad: Pakistan and Romania have reached an agreement to enhance cooperation in several key sectors, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, renewable energy, and green innovation. This development came during a meeting between Pakistan's Minister for Science and Technology, Khalid Hussain Magsi, and Romanian Ambassador to Pakistan, Dan Stoenescu.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting was held in Islamabad, where Minister Magsi expressed Pakistan's interest in learning from Romania's accomplishments, particularly in technology and innovation. The dialogue underscored the potential for collaboration and mutual benefit in these rapidly evolving domains.

Ambassador Stoenescu reaffirmed Romania's commitment to strengthening ties with Pakistan by facilitating connections with major European Union-funded programs. These initiatives are expected to pave the way for Pakistani institutions to participate in joint research and high-tech projects on a global scale, thereby enhancing Pakistan's scientific and technological capabilities.
