Islamabad: In the 35th National Games, Pakistan Army showcased an outstanding performance, winning 20 gold medals and further strengthening their overall lead. According to Radio Pakistan, Army athletes excelled in Taekwondo by winning 9 golds, while in Judo, they added 3 more golds, bringing their total medal count to 29. Pakistan Navy claimed the second position with 7 gold medals, and the Air Force stood third with 4 golds, 6 silvers, and 4 bronzes. In the sailing events, the Air Force secured 4 golds, while the Navy bagged 2 golds. In the squash team competitions, PAF, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, WAPDA, Balochistan, Railways, and Army teams defeated their respective opponents. Women's competitions saw Punjab, Army, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa emerge as the top teams.
