A medical camp was organized by Pakistan Army at Raichand Higher Secondary School Chelhar in Tharparkar. The medical camp also had the facility of various lab tests. Minor surgeries were also performed on the patients in the medical camp. Ration and food were also distributed among the residents. Over thirteen hundred patients were treated in the medical camp. Malaria, diabetes, blood pressure and stomach diseases were treated free of cost in the medical camp. Doctors and paramedical staff also provided awareness to the residents regarding hygiene, balanced diet, prevention and treatment of various diseases including dengue. Source: Radio Pakistan
