Sialkot: Pakistan Army's relief operations are underway in different flood-hit areas including Sialkot, Narowal, Zafarwal, and Wazirabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, in Sialkot, ration has been distributed among flood-affected people, and approximately three hundred individuals, including women and children, have received free medical treatment at camps organized by the Pakistan Army.
Free medical camps have also been established for flood victims in Narowal, Zafarwal, Wazirabad, and surrounding areas, where over five hundred people have been provided with free medical treatment and medicines. Relief camps have been set up for flood victims in Pattoki, Bahram, Tahliwala, and Ramgarh.
The Pakistan Army also conducted an emergency rescue operation to save three missing persons near Manga Mandi. Meanwhile, a strategy has been devised to address floods in Muzaffargarh and Doaba, where a detailed review of flood prevention measures was conducted at the River Chenab breaching site and other locations.
The Pakistan Army inspected practical training for joint relief teams and emergency evacuation arrangements in collaboration with the civil administration.
