Pakistan Commits to Digital Empowerment of Women with OIC Collaboration

Islamabad: Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja has announced Pakistan's readiness to build partnerships with OIC member states to transition from ideas to pilot projects and create concrete platforms for digitally empowering women.

According to Radio Pakistan, Shaza Fatima Khawaja addressed the 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women in Islamabad, emphasizing Pakistan's eagerness to share its experiences and learn from other OIC member states. The objective is to empower women in the digital and information technology sectors through collaboration and technology acquisition.

She further highlighted Pakistan's commitment to ensuring that every girl can access connectivity and obtain a secure digital identity and financial account.
