Islamabad: Pakistan has strongly condemned the attack on a convoy of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in Beirut that injured several peacekeepers. According to Radio Pakistan, a statement from the Foreign Office spokesperson highlighted that such attacks on blue helmets are flagrant violations of international law, for which there must be accountability. Pakistan stands in solidarity with UNIFIL and reaffirms its unwavering support for UN peacekeeping operations.
