Islamabad: Pakistan has expressed its deep concern on Haiti's rapid slide into chaos. Delivering a national statement during the United Nations Security Council briefing on Haiti, Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the UN and the President of the Security Council for the current month, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, underlined the need for immediate action by the Council.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Ahmad emphasized the importance of addressing the situation urgently to prevent further deterioration and instability in Haiti. The Security Council briefing served as a platform for member states to discuss the ongoing challenges faced by Haiti and the potential measures needed to restore order and stability in the country.
