Pakistan, Iran Have Vital Role in Fostering Regional Stability: Attaullah

Islamabad: Minister of Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar says Pakistan and Iran have a vital role in fostering regional stability, promoting joint cooperation, and advancing important initiatives across various sectors. In an exclusive interview with IRNA today, he stated that the two countries are key actors in maintaining peace and stability across the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, Attaullah Tarar highlighted the significance of the upcoming visit of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Islamabad, noting that it will further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries. He described the Iranian President's official visit as an important milestone and a continuation of the positive momentum in diplomatic ties, which has been witnessed in recent months.

The Minister further elaborated on the excellent relations between Iran and Pakistan, which have been growing at the highest levels in recent months. He referred to the visit of the late Iranian president, Ebrahim Raisi, to Pakistan last year, during which the foundation for stronger relations was laid with commitments spanning trade, investment, and other shared areas of interest.

It is pertinent to mention that President Masoud Pezeshkian is visiting Pakistan tomorrow.
