Islamabad: Minister for National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain has emphasized enhancing cooperation between Pakistan and Morocco in agriculture, food security, and agri-tech innovation. He was addressing a ceremony in Islamabad to celebrate Morocco's National Day.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister expressed optimism that both countries will continue to work closely for regional and global peace and prosperity. He termed the National Day a symbol of Morocco's rich heritage, national pride, resilience, and steady journey towards progress and peace. The Minister commended Morocco's strides in sustainable development, regional cooperation, and governance.
The Minister appreciated Morocco's consistent support to Pakistan at international fora and reiterated Pakistan's firm support for Morocco's sovereignty, stability, and territorial integrity. He also stressed the need to expand bilateral cooperation in key sectors such as textiles, agriculture, leather, pharmaceuticals, and information technology.
He called for fully utilizing the trade potential between the two countries, highlighting the importance of strengthening ties in various sectors to foster mutual growth and development.
