New York:Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has announced that the country will support Saudi Arabia in the event of any aggression against it.

According to Radio Pakistan, Asif made the statement while speaking to media personnel in New York, referencing the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement as a basis for this commitment.

He also highlighted Pakistan's ongoing efforts to promote peace in the Middle East, noting that Qatar is similarly contributing to this endeavor. Asif underscored that Pakistan's mediation initiatives have significantly enhanced its international image.
