Pakistan Reaffirms Role in Promoting Regional Peace and Stability: Azam

Islamabad: Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar has reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue to play a positive and constructive role in promoting regional peace, stability, and dialogue. He made these remarks during a meeting with the United States Charg© d'Affaires to Pakistan, Natalie A. Baker, who called on him in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, both parties reiterated their commitment to strengthening Pakistan-United States bilateral cooperation. This includes collaboration in the field of law and enhancing engagement in other areas of mutual interest. The discussions emphasized the importance of maintaining a cooperative relationship to address regional challenges and promote stability.

Natalie Baker expressed appreciation for Pakistan's constructive role during the Gulf conflict and commended its diplomatic efforts to promote regional peace and stability. She also acknowledged the leadership of Field Marshal and Syed Asim Munir, along with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, in their efforts to advance peace and stability in the region.
