Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Albert P. Khorev called on Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif in Islamabad. They discussed matters relating to bilateral defence and economic cooperation. The Defence Minister reiterated Pakistan's commitment to regional peace and security. He said Pakistan intends to forge a long-term multidimensional partnership with Russia, especially in the fields of defence, trade, energy and people-to-people contacts.
