Pakistan, Trkiye Voice Satisfaction Over Enhanced Ties

Islamabad: Pakistan and Trkiye have expressed satisfaction over the continued strengthening and expansion of bilateral relations in the political, economic, security, and cultural domains. This affirmation came during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Foreign Minister of Trkiye Hakan Fidan in Istanbul today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two Foreign Ministers welcomed the progress achieved under the framework of the Pakistan-Trkiye High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council. They agreed on the early convening of the next session of the Council, underscoring the importance of sustained engagement to further enhance bilateral ties.

During the meeting, both ministers exchanged views on issues of regional and international importance. They reaffirmed their commitment to continue working closely for regional peace and stability, highlighting the shared interests and common goals of both nations in the global arena.

Present at the meeting were Special Secretary of the United Nations Nabeel Munir, Director General, United Nations, Umar Siddique, First Secretary Qazi Saleem, and Deputy Director to the Foreign Minister Agha Hunain, reflecting the comprehensive nature of the discussions and the involvement of various stakeholders in fostering cooperation.
