Pakistani Missions Abroad Commemorate 79th Independence Day with Special Ceremonies

Paris: Pakistani missions worldwide organized special ceremonies to celebrate the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan, emphasizing renewed zeal and fervor. A flag hoisting ceremony took place at the Pakistani embassy in Paris, where Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch raised the Pakistani flag to the national anthem's tune. The event witnessed participation from diaspora members, embassy officials, and Pakistani families, including numerous children.

According to Radio Pakistan, the colorful Independence Day program in Paris featured national songs and a documentary. Guests also had the opportunity to enjoy traditional Pakistani cuisine. In Bahrain, a significant number of Pakistanis attended an event organized at the embassy in Manama. The flag hoisting ceremony there was followed by the screening of a documentary on the Marka-e-Haq campaign.

The Bahraini mission also held a photo exhibition on Marka-e-Haq, showcasing photographs of equipment used during Operation Bunyan un Marsoos, including aircraft, missiles, and cyber security tools. This exhibition highlighted the steadfast resolve of Pakistan's civil and military leadership during the operation. Messages from the President and Prime Minister were read out on the occasion, and leading Bahraini newspapers published special supplements in connection with Pakistan's Independence Day.

In Delhi, the Pakistani High Commission also organized a ceremony to mark the 79th Independence Day. Pakistan's Charge d'Affaires in India, Saad Ahmed Warraich, hoisted the national flag at the Chancery Lawn of the High Commission. Messages from the President and Prime Minister were read during the ceremony. A special cake was cut to commemorate the event, and children dressed in traditional attire performed, showcasing various aspects of the freedom movement.
