Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended the funeral and burial of Shaheed Captain Faraz Ilyas near Chunian today. The martyred captain was laid to rest with full military honors who embraced martyrdom in a terrorist attack at Lakki Marwat along six brave jawans. Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar and high up military officials and a large number of local people also participated in funeral prayer. Prime Minister laid floral wreath over Shaheed' grave and offered fateha. While expressing condolences with Shaheed' parents, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid rich tribute to the unprecedented sacrifices being rendered by brave armed forces while fighting against terrorism. He said that sacrifices by armed forces for country and nation will never go in waste. The Prime Minister also announced to name the village with Captain Faraz Ilyas's name to honor his sacrifice.
